Kiwayu Island
Our longest trip, but maybe the most interesting and very beautiful as well. You find Kiwayu island north-east of Lamu archipelago and in the Kiunga marine reserve. In the protected waters you can spot dolphins, sea turtles and the nocturnal dugong so why not take a swim there and explore the best coral reef along the Kenyan coast? We are camping on the deserted beach and you will have plenty of time for snorkeling and fishing. The island is surrounded by reef. On our way we will stop over at Paté Island and swimming at Mtangawanda. This trip is 3 days/2 nights or rather 4 days/3 nights.

Our dhow, "Lkhlasw", has fully equipment with life vests, satellite communication, toilet facility, fresh water for shower, waterproof bags for valuables, shade area, cool boxes, snorkeling equipment, fishing gear, tent with mosquito net, mattresses, linen, and cooking equipment. The dhow has also an inside engine, a dinghy and has a capacity up to 15 people.

All excursions are subject to the weather situation and in all our excursions and activities you will have local guides.
