Matondoni Village
We are dhow sailing to the local fishing village and dhow building site of Lamu. Here you will see the traditional handicraft as weaving straw mats of palm leaves and making ropes of coconut. Explore the houses in Matondoni, which are made of Mangrove poles. If you are lucky you can also experience the traditional dance, that the village are famous for. It´s a 2-hour boat ride and we will provide fruits and snacks.
