Tana River Tour
This excursion can be 2 days/1 night or preferable 3 days/2 nights. We are dhow sailing to the local village Kipini at the delta of Tana river, where we stop for lunch. Here you can fish and it´s possible to spend the afternoon game driving on the mainland. At the safari you can see Zebra, Giraffe, Gazelle, Baboon and even Elephant. We will put up the tents, or you can sleep in bandas (cottages), along the riverside and after breakfast we are dhow sailing into Tana river with all the banana, mango and cashew nut crops along riverside. Up the river you can view hippo and crocodiles, and see birds as eagle and stork. On our way back to Lamu we will stop at Kinycka rock, which is an excellent place for snorkeling at the coral reef.
